Pullar House
Perth

The first Private Finance Initiative of its kind in Scotland, the historic Pullars site would house Perth & Kinross Council offices, shoppers parking, pedestrianisation and environmental improvements throughout.

Designed to the latest low energy standards, two atria work as stack vents for natural ventilation, obtaining free cooling from the Mill Lade beneath. The façade retention keeps the best of the original frontage, with modern efficient floor plates behind in an IT intensive environment. The main public space in the West Atrium incorporates cast-iron columns and trusses salvaged from one of the former mills.
