The Grosvenor Building


Ignis were keen to attract new tenants to this A-listed building in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. Ignis were pleased yet somewhat surprised that our first thoughts did not revolve around aesthetics, but how the building functioned and the facilities it should offer.


It was clear that user centric facilities such as showers and high quality toilet facilities would be expected, in addition to the refurbishment of the entrance reception area and office floor plates. A new street frontage is provided to maximise the narrow entrance way. The Reception is situated off to the side of the arrivals hall, allowing users and visitors to flow freely into the building. Simple lines and non-fussy detailing ensure a very contemporary aesthetic.
