Maxim Office Park

The Client brief was for a masterplan led design, of an international quality office park in the heart of Scotland. Located at Eurocentral on the arterial M8 corridor link between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Keppie’s multi-layered design approach was the catalyst for a coordinated and holistic design response. The masterplan scheme consists of ten high specification office buildings, with over 750,000 sqft of Grade A accommodation. The pragmatic flexibility of the buildings was an integral part of the design process.

The design of the external works reflects the high quality business park status. At the heart of the masterplan, the central landscaped area comprises of a series of spaces linked by a linear water feature, designed to reflect the changing water courses found in Scotland’s glaciated landscape.

As an exemplar regeneration project located on a redundant brownfield site, Keppie has designed and delivered one of the UK’s largest speculatively built office parks with all buildings achieving ‘Excellent’ and ‘Very Good’ BREEAM ratings.

"Keppie has a Client focused and dynamic team, with an ability to listen to input from the stakeholders, understand the challenging design brief which we put before them and hit the mark in all key areas - budget, schedule, context, functionality and aesthetics." - Karen Campbell, Chief Executive Officer, Maxim Office Park
