Badaling Clubhouse Masterplan
Jingyu, China

The thread linking the site location, the three zones and the ethos of the development is wine. Consequently, our studies focused on both traditional and contemporary North Italian rural architecture which, by its very nature, responds to context and function organically, permitting a degree of freedom in planning and expression of the buildings.

The “stalk and stem” simplicity of the masterplan layout is expressive of the major source of income for the Huai Lai country, grape production.
