In response to the international competition, the bespoke 27,000 sqm building was designed as a large L-shaped, flexible floor plate presenting a striking facade towards St Vincent Street and the adjacent M8 motorway. A generous public space was created adjacent to the double height entrance space creating a continuity to the high quality pedestrian public realm across the road, past St Vincent Plaza, and towards the Hilton Hotel.

 

The bid team was highly commended for its design.
