Appointed to design IMI’s new office, we were briefed to create an environment worthy of a FTSE 100 company, and accommodate up to 250 staff over three floors. IMI were also keen to include a staff restaurant preparing fresh meals on the premises. Keppie adopted the BCO Best Practice as a minimum to ensure workplace trends, standards and more importantly, staff expectations were all met and exceeded.


A mix of open plan resident and agile staff along with cellular accommodation are organised over the two upper floors, with a large staff restaurant / informal work lounge on the ground floor. The restaurant / dining space form the heart of the office inviting users from Executive to junior staff to exchange in a dynamic social environment.
