Britannia Court, 50 Bothwell Street


Having previously carried out a feasibility study to consider options for the refurbishment and partial redevelopment of the existing office building at 50 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, Keppie Design were instructed to proceed with a scheme which included the rationalisation and reconfiguration of the existing building cores to provide more efficient and flexible office space and to redesign the public areas, including the reception and atrium. Further new dormer windows are also to be incorporated into the existing mansard roof to improve the day lighting levels and quality of office space to the upper levels.


As part of the design process, Keppie have carried out consultations with both Planning and Historic Scotland for the proposed works to the existing, Grade B listed building. The company are lead design consultants for the duration of the commission providing architectural and interior design services.
