Susan Weir

Susan studied at Queens University Belfast and then at Edinburgh College of Art. She joined Keppie in 1994, qualifying as an Architect in 1995. She was promoted to Associate Director in 2015.

Susan has a wealth of experience spanning a variety of sectors, delivering large scale leisure, commercial, education and healthcare projects. Most notably she played a pivotal role in the design and delivery of the Aker HQ in Aberdeen which included a multitude of lifestyle and leisure facilities as well as grade A office space arranged in 3 interlinked buildings. The building won “Commercial Building of the Year 2016” at RICS Scottish awards ceremony and the “Best Corporate Workplace 2016” at the BCO Scottish awards. Susan’s recent roles include delivering the East Lothian Community hospital in Haddington and she is currently overseeing the design and delivery of a large-scale international healthcare project.

Susan loves to travel and loves food. She loves to experiment with different recipes and also has an interest in fashion and design.
