Val studied at The University of Edinburgh, graduating with an Honours and Masters degrees in Architecture in 2006. He enjoyed working in London and Switzerland, before settling back to Scotland.
Val brings a wide range of experience from a variety of sectors in the UK and overseas, playing a key role in commercial and residential projects, including high profile developments in Edinburgh’s New and Old Town’s. He is a BREEAM Accredited Professional with a keen interest in sustainable building.
Val is half Alsatian, half Yorkshire and was born in Tuscany. In his spare time Val enjoys woodwork and Lego (with his kids, he says)
